Security Officer Training
Concealed Carry
Safe Travel Training
Executive Protection
All trainings offered can be catered to your specific need and purpose. Each can be catered/tailored to fit your specific personal, business, and financial needs.
You would receive training from an instructor that is: U.S. Marine Gulf War veteran, former municipal law enforcement officer, former federal law enforcement officer, former federal law enforcement firearms instructor, former high-risk security contractor and instructor with 7-years on ground in Afghanistan (providing high-risk security and mentor/instructor services [if I can train groups of foreigners in marksmanship through the use of an interpreter...I can train you!]), former security agency owner, former State of Florida licensed security officer instructor, and a current NRA instructor (Basic Pistol, Basic Rifle, Personal Protection Inside the Home, Personal Protection Outside the Home, and Defensive Pistol) and NRA Range Master.
I get complete enjoyment from the reaction to students completing an iteration of an action that they thought was impossible. The pure joy and confidence they have and show after successfully getting over or through the obstacle is priceless...that's what training is all about. Set a goal, practice, practice, practice, achieve said goal, set an even higher goal, and ride that train again!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to take the time to answer questions that the potential new student may have. If they come to me simply asking, "How much do you charge?", I like to then turn the tables and ask them questions to get a feel for their experience and what it is that they really want to learn. I don't want anyone to pay for something that they didn't want or didn't get the training they thought they'd get. Communication is key!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I learned to shoot while serving as a U.S. Marine at the age of 17. Since then I have honed my skill achieving 'expert' ratings in all my qualifications as an active duty Marine (6 years), city police officer, federal police officer, high-risk security contractor, and as a school resource officer. While serving as a federal officer, I was sent to school to become a certified firearms instructor. I was also an instructor teaching Basic and Advance SWAT tactics, High Risk Warrant Service, and Tactical Drug Enforcement to name a few. While deployed to Afghanistan, I was also a marksman instructor. Training allies in transitioning from using the AK-47 and Makarov 9mm to using the M4 and Glock 9mm while also instructing in various tactical applications. I am also an NRA Range Safety Officer and an instructor in Basic Rifle, Basic Pistol, Personal Protection Inside the Home, and Personal Protection Outside the Home since 2011
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
No, I do not. I will cater the training to meet the need(s) of the student(s) if necessary so that each student gets exactly what they want or need.
How did you get started teaching?
I began teaching after being called upon as a police officer to deliver gang intel/information to citizens at local Community Policing events. After getting the responses I received form the members of the groups, I was hooked on wanting to teach and instruct.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with all sorts both male and female, foreign nationals of different countries, law enforcement officers, military personnel, high wealth individuals, dignitaries, and regular salt of the earth U.S. citizens.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Ask your would-be instructor any and all questions you may have prior to starting training.
Be perfectly honest about what you are looking to get out of the training when/if asked.
Price comparision of cost of training is not an effective means of deciding which instruction is better...talk to the instructors to get a feel for how they communicate with you and if you feel there is 'chemistry' that will allow you to be the best student for the best instructor.
If the would-be instructor does not utilize common or exact terminology or refuses to 'dumb-down' the verbiage so that the novice student can truly understand; walk away. They are attempting to impress you with their 'lingo' which will not train you effectively for such an important responsibility as gun ownership.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Am I level-headed, mentally stable, and mature enough to own/carry/operate a device that can end a life?
Am I willing to take the life of another human being in order to survive a deadly force encounter?
Do I have the desire & discipline and am I openminded enough to be adequately trained?
Am I willing and capable of repeating the same actions over and over to achieve the desired result(s)?
Can I set aside any/all biased thoughts about gun ownership and take the course/training with an open mind?
