Tutoring is carried out online with HD audio and video quality. My use of an external touchpad and stylus allows me to use features within various online meeting software platforms (like Skype, Microsoft Teams, etc.) to emulate the use of a whiteboard.
BS in Mathematics; MS in Finance;
Please note that although I now work as a data test engineer, I've also worked as an actuary. This required that I pass several actuarial exams; I scored at least 8/10 on each exam. Each of these exams test very difficult mathematical concepts, and they are notoriously known for being among the hardest professional exams offered for any industry.

I absolutely love to solve math problems, and I love even more to help others to be impressed, not intimidated, by the elegance and power of mathematics.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I typically receive some sample problems which are giving my students issues, and then I structure a lesson plan which is designed to address the specific concepts which are needed to solve the given set of problems. We then meet for two hours minimum for a total of $100 ($50 per hour), either in one two hour session (preferred) or during two one hour sessions, so that the lesson plan can be taught and understood completely before moving onto solving problems, which is done in the second half of the session (unless my student needs more or less time to understand the rudiments covered in the lesson plan).
