About
My love for drawing began at 12 when I was introduced to comic books. I was forever changed and decided I wanted to be an illustrator. I went to the San Francisco Academy of Art. After an enlistment in the Army I settled in the Tampa Bay Area where I started to illustrate comics for different independent publishers. I also began having my painting appear in restaurants and galleries throughout the Tampa Bay Area. I started working with chalk at a south Tampa eatery, my work there became a draw for the restaurant. My work there has been featured in Restaurant Monthly Magazine and on Charlie Belchers morning news show. My first chalk festival was in 2015 and Ive been working as a freelance artist ever since.
I love when I can inspire other to be artistic. Nothing brings me more joy then when someone comes to me and says you inspired me to create something themselves.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I start with a lesson on supplies and tool we will be using. I will then get into some quick gesture drawing or painting to loosen the student up. First lesson will most like be a still life with simple shapes (ball, cube, cone, cylinder). I feel if one can draw those simple shapes they can draw anything. Let me show you how.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 4+ years of art college along with 30+ years of working on my own work. I've been working professionally as an artist for 10+ years.
