About
No question is dumb to me. I know what it is like to be a beginner when I started college as a photography student in 2007, 11 years ago. I am patient. Learning photograpy is hard. My expertise, working at a camera store as an instructor for 10 years also helped as well. All of my lessons are customized to the student's needs, and they will forever be able to lean on me for customer support.
Photography is my full time job, and education is my passion. It's a great fit, and I love seeing the lightbulb turn on in my student's heads, just as much as I like seeing myself take an amazing photo.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I send a series of questions to evaluate their skill level in photography, and base my lesson on their individual needs. Sometimes I teach a first time camera buyer, other times it's someone who has been in photography for years, but wants to learn a new skill. I am all about customization.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I worked at Unique Photo in New Jersey for 10 years teaching one on one photography lessons and group classes on everything from camera basics, to advanced lighting. I also have a BFA degree from Montclair State University with a concentration in Fine Art Photography. I am currently one of the premiere Florida wedding and portrait photographers. Beyond portraits I have also traveled to Tromsø, Norway 6 times to lead group workshops on how to photograph the Northern Lights.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Yes typically my lessons are $250/h, but this can vary (upwards) depending on the complexity of the subjects being covered, and if extra equipment, studio space, and time is needed.
