What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Phone call first, get acquainted and go from there.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Over 20 years.
Worked in school system taking school pictures and in studio.
Worked for a company doing outdoor portraits as well. Weddings, etc.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
$25.00 per lesson and you learn a lot and have fun learning. You set the number of lessons. I teach you according to your level of knowledge etc.

How did you get started teaching?
Have taught other classes like scrapbooking and have been told, I missed my calling.
Individuals have asked me how I got certain looks and that is where it started. My church has a summer program that involves all kind of activities and I was asked to teach photography to 4th and 5th graders. Have been doing that for years.
What types of students have you worked with?
School students and older individuals who want to learn photography as well.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Super Bowl was fun to shoot with all the memorabilia in Tampa. Would have loved to been out on the field for that one. Use to shoot football games and many a sport for a company. So fun.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Think about what you want to learn and what area do you want to focus on...always a good start.
Sometimes it takes time to figure out one's style.
Make sure that the person you hire knows what they are talking about etc...

Know what your needs are, and what goals you want to achieve.
