What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Generally in the first lesson, I will first assess what the student knows in the subject they wish to have lessons on (composistion, piano instruction, or theory). After this, I will cater a lesson plan based on their ability that includes the student's wishes to help them grow into the musician they aspire to be.

I have a bachelor's degree in Music Composition from Lynn University, where I am currently studying in my masters both Composition and Piano Performance.

How did you get started teaching?
I have been teaching since I was young. I love working with students, and have a passion for watching them grow and improve their ability to play and understand music.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with students of all ages; from 4 to 84.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Recently, I have been hard at work recording an album for my duo, The Muse Duo, in which I perform solo piano works and play with a classical guitarist in a unique ensemble setting.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
For a piano instructor, look for a teacher who will teach you the fundamentals of the instrument, so you can play the music that you are interested in playing.
For a theory or composition instructor, look for a teacher who will teach the materials you are interested in.
