What is your typical process for working with a new student?
The most important part is, make them to feel conformable and relaxing, because learning something new, specially dancing is intimidating. Next, explain them how it will be the whole process of learning.In
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
In college (USF) I was the founder of the USF Latin Dance Club in 2004. But two years before that, I was an assistant instructor in Salsa Caliente Dance Studio.
While I was teaching in USF, I was traveling to take salsa workshops in different International Salsa Congress (Miami, Orlando, Atlanta, Tampa, etc.). And several years after I was participating as a performer in those Salsa Congresses.
What types of students have you worked with?
I used to teach group classes for almost 12 years, but for the last couple years I'm doing more private lessons.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Orlando Salsa and Bachata Festival, dancing with people from all over the world and enjoying live music.
