My classes are ongoing all year. I take any level of painter and love to help individuals find their own voice and work on their own personal subject matter.

I am a nationally recognized watercolorist with many signatures and awards. I enjoy helping my students strive to be the best they can be!

I enjoy time spent with fellow artists and watching the "light bulb" go off when a new artist learns and understands how to control an aspect of watercolor painting!

    Frequently asked questions

    New students to watercolor painting are taken through a series of lessons that teach the basics of working with the materials, understanding color theory and the layering process, how much water to use, and artistic composition. I also like to introduce students to photo manipulation in photoshop which I use as an aid in creating pleasing compositions. I help each student find their voice as I introduce a variety of styles of painting and choices in materials used.
