About this pro

Julian (Juice) Sanders has Loved the game of basketball ever since he laid eyes on the sport. A New Jersey native, Julian grew up battling in the local city parks and summer leagues for fun and bragging rights. He later on went to play for New Jersey sports power house Shawnee high school. Where he scored 2056 career points in 4 years. Sanders then recieved several scholarships but decided to commit to division II power house IUP. Through his 4 years playing, Sanders lead shawnee to 2 state championships and 4 conference championships. Most athletes stop after college but sanders was determined to play professionally. Sanders played his first season professionally in Uruguay, South America. He then wen on to play in Argentina, Africa, Cyprus, and Columbia. Over the years, Sanders has become a Master of the game of basketball. Julian Sanders has learned so much through the sport of basketball all the qualities taught on the court also apply off the court. Fundamentals, Footwork, Reading defenders, anticipation, ball handling, shooting form and athleticism.

I enjoy the smile and happiness on a kids face when they learn something the right way. A lot of kids don’t really have someone to look up to with sports that can actually give them good and the right advice. I needed someone like me in my corner, we all do if we want to be the best at what we do.

Great job at applying detail to fundamental learning for my son Shane. He understands the concept of teaching, the basics and having fun! Shane has his permanent trainer/coach thanks again Julian!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

First working on individual skills to see fundamentally where and what stages the client is on and what should be worked on first. Mentally and physically helping young athletes push themselves past their mental walls of discouragement. Ball handling, footwork, low and alert posture while moving with or without the ball(offense or defense). All other parts of training will fall into play as we master the fundamentals.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have my bachelors degree in Sports Administration minor in business. All my life I have been dealing with players and coaches of all kinds so I have a diverse way of teaching. Each athlete is coached and taught different. I have a certification in coaching and motor development.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

Ages (7-9) - 15$ session

Ages (10-18)- 25$ session

How did you get started teaching?

my highschool coach runs summer camps and clinics throughout year and one day asked me would I be interested and I have loved it ever since. Putting a smile on a kids face also while helping them reach milestones and breaking barriers in themselves that helps them become more confident and aware.
