Fanny makes it fun. I like that I can help the deaf community and my hearing impaired clients at work.

I love working with Fanny! She’s been a wonderful teacher and has been very flexible with me. I’m a healthcare provider so I use what I learn with patients that are hard of hearing. This has been a great tool for me and I recommend everyone to learn sign language with Fanny!

    Frequently asked questions

Typically I start with an assessment of the student to gage their academic level. Then I create a plan for the student that targets alphabetic skills, colors, places, things, animals, etc.
I trained and worked with a teachers as a paraprofessional with Deaf and Hard of Hearing students using American Sign Languages for many years including tutoring students in reading comprehension, math, science, and social studies in person and through Zoom meeting.
Each lesson has 45 chapters, which totals $40. The chapter workload can be adjusted depending on the students needs.
I’ve been working as a paraprofessional for 24 years, working with deaf and hard of hearing students. Having many years of experience in the educational system has allowed me to transition to teaching.
I have worked with Deaf and Hard of Hearing students, including those on the Austism Spectrum and Deaf and Hard of Hearing students that have come from other countries with little to no signing skills.
I went to watch a play with my DHH students where the play was in English and ASL. It was a great experience.
I would tell the student to ask about the teachers experience, their educational background, and speak to references about the teacher.
Student should think about their academic strengths and weaknesses, what support or accommodations they need, what are their goals in learning, and how can they effectively communicate with their teacher before approaching their teacher.
