FAQs

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

Starting I watch the players swing while making mental notes, a lot of what players do is connected to one bad habit, I find the leading bad habits and I work with the player to fix their issues without overcompicating the swing and making understandable, while also getting results from the changes.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

16 years of baseball, 4 year 5A high school varsity player, 5 years youth recreational baseball coaching (12u- 14U), 3 years individual youth lessons, 1 year of 16u travel baseball coaching, proffesional instruction throughout my life from pros and coaches in both Georgia and Florida.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

1 SESSION: 60 MINUTES: $65.00
5 SESSIONS: 45 MINUTES: $275.00($50 SAVINGS)
10 SESSIONS: 45 MINUTES: $550.00($100 SAVINGS)
16 SESSIONS: 45 MINUTES: $ 900.00($180.00 SAVINGS)

I also incorporate Hit Trax so we can work on the players bat velo, launch angle and exit speed.

I also utilize video analysis for hitters and pitchers.

How did you get started teaching?

I have always loved coaching and helping my teamates and kids becaome better players, I started to help out assistant coaching my younger brother's youth rec baseball team, and I enjoyed it so much. I then started to get into giving youth players lessons, and being able to work with an individual player, seeing their abilities and skills get better every time made it worth it. Starting with a travel 16u baseball team, working with a different age of players, widened my age ability to coach and train giving me different opportunites in coaching.

What types of students have you worked with?

I have worked with a 8u, 12u, 13u, and 14u recreational baseball team. Have given lessons to athletes 8-16 years old. Have coached and trained a 16u travel baseball team.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.

Recieving a baseball scholorship to Toccoa Falls College but deciding that I enjoyed coaching and helping other players more than I enjoyed playing.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

I am here to help you be the best player you can be.  I'm not an instructor that just pitches balls. I break down the fundamentals of hitting, pitching and defense so you understand the keys to success. We'll work on the mental aspects of the game and when youre ready I'll be here to help you through the recruiting process.
