About
Welcome! My training is to focus on the fundamentals of basketball. I attended UGA, played 8 years in the NBA and played 8 years overseas and one thing I learned is no matter what level you are on, the fundamentals are taught on each level. I take pride in not only my experience and training but I love to mentor my clients about not only on sport but things that will prepare them for life. Mentality is something that can take you beyond the hardwood and that’s what I instill in my clients.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
The student must be willing to work and willing to learn. I'm willing to give my time for students who want to get better and willing to do what it takes to get better. Each student is required to get in touch with the coach to see if it would be a good fit for your needs. From there, we can start the scheduling process
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 8 years of NBA experience and 8 years of overseas experience. I have worked with the Philadelphia 76ers youth program where I was a mentor to kids for 2 years and I was a assistance basketball coach for Decatur High School for 2 seasons and I currently do speaking engagements to speak with young athletes about what it takes to get to a elite level.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Yes, I do have standard pricing. I do camps, which I charge $120 per kid. Individual training during the week is $80 per session, which usually last for one hour and the more we train together, the time will be extended. $325 for the week of training which is Monday-Friday. Saturday and Sunday training will cost $100 per session. Monthly prices will be $1200 for 4 weeks of training $1500 for the months with 5 weeks.
How did you get started teaching?
I have a passion for the game of basketball and I love to mentor kids on what it takes to get to the next level and me having my experience, I wanted to share details of the type of work it takes to make it on any level and be successful
What types of students have you worked with?
I have collaborated with many camps and clinics for players ages 9-18 hosted by former teammates and trainers... I have personally trained my daughter who went to Decatur High School and got a scholarship to play ball at Xavier.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I am apart of a lot of youth events that I am asked to speak with the kids and before the pandemic, I was working with the program called the Young 3 that Ice Cube put together where he gave young kids the opportunity to be put through workouts with professionals like myself. The most recent event was of the Philadelphia Youth Foundation where I came in to speak with our youth.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Prepare to work and listen and have fun; because I am a mental coach and plan to get your mind set ready to compete at the highest level.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
They should ask themselves how bad do they want to improve in that area and what are they willing to do to get improve.
