Art is in my soul. I feel it is a gift to share what I've learned,for free,to many through out the years.
I attended CCAD,Columbus College of Art and Design,4 years,an excellent school,c.1860. One of the best in the world.
I start with the basics of drawing. Progress to helping the students develop their own style,preferences. They will study the History of Art, Perspective,2d Design,Trends, Illustration,Painting,Mixed Media,Fashion, Advertising Design,Color.
Also they can contact me and request a subject I am experienced with.
All the Arts are so important to me. It gives me hope,joy,friendships,comradere,we connect to the soul through the Arts and they are very practical,as a science is.
It teaches us about life and what makes it worth living. Connects us to nature and the world.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I assess their skills in the beginning to see how advanced they are.
We discuss their goals.
I create a beginning lesson for taylored to their specific needs.
We continue until they are ready to graduate to the next step.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have taught art students for 40 years.
I am an Alumni of CCAD.(Columbus College of Art and Design. Majored in Fashion,Illustration, and Advertising Design.

$35.00 and up per lesson,per hour,depending on their skills and location.
Never more than $50.00 per lesson.
How did you get started teaching?
My first position was in the Washington DC area. Fairfax County Recreation Art Teacher Training,and Art Teacher.I was given the responsibility of teaching a Summer program to Art Teachers. And also teaching children.
