Smart Drivers ED
About
Most driving schools hire part-time instructors. At Smart Drivers ED, your instructor will be the owner of the business. You will learn from a patient, well-spoken, experienced professional.
I enjoy watching nervous, uncertain students as they develop into confident, safe drivers. With the proper instruction, anyone can learn to handle Atlanta traffic safely.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Lessons are personalized based on the experience, skill, and confidence of each student. Students will learn to handle driving situations that may seem uncomfortable in the beginning. However, your safety will not be compromised.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am certified to teach driving in the State of Georgia. I hold a Commercial Drivers License, and teach teens and adults the art of safely driving in Atlanta.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
The first six hours of Behind the Wheel Instruction is $65 per hour. Any lessons beyond six hours are $50 per hour.
How did you get started teaching?
After teaching my three kids how to drive, I found that I had the patience and temperament for this profession. After working as an instructor for a few years at other schools, I decided I could better serve my students working independently. So, Smart Drivers ED began in 2016.
What types of students have you worked with?
Teens and adults. I have very good communication skills, so I am quite fond of teaching students who are new to America.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I always enjoy hearing when my students pass their Driver's Exam.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Don't assume all driving instructors are the same. Some are good, but some are bad. The largest and oldest driving schools in Atlanta hire part-time instructors, so you can't know if your instructor will be good or bad.
With Smart Drivers ED, your instructor will be the company owner.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
