My classes are interactive fun and challenging! If you are learning sign language for the first time or have a basic knowledge this is the class for you!
The class is suited to meet your skill level. Each class will include a "Level Up Challenge" to prepare you for the next class as you move through the course.
I absolutley love working with families and individuals who are eager to expand their communication skills with members, friends or associates who are deaf or hard of hearing. Communication is the foundation to all relationships and no one should be left out. It is my goal to help facilitate incredilble learning for you to create amazing Great Connections!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to know my students. Who they are, where they are from as well as most why they are taking the course, what are their expectations and how they would like for me to work with them.
I always give activities to promote continued practice and skill improvement. Sign language is a skill best practiced with a partner. Group classes are conducted Mondays 6:30-7:30 PM. Each month focuses on a different topic.
My goal is for the student to feel successful and competent.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have worked at the Atlanta Area School for the Deaf for more than 18 years and voluneered in other capacities for more than 20 years. I provide group classes to parents, family members. school bus drivers, businesses and community members
