I offer professional knowledge in teaching and specialize knowledge in drawing in graphite, soft pastel. I work as a high school art teacher and as a visual artist. My preferred medium is oil. I've taught art 14 years in school and 5 year with High Museum of Art's education program in Atlanta, and several community art programs in the surrounding metro area
Currently, I'm looking for students interested in oil painting classes and drawng instruction.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I always learn about my students level of experience find out what they want to know and then what there prior knowledge is to understand how to help them reach their goals.
I'm naturaly curious about what motivates creative people and happy to guide my students in learning about the various painting and drawing mediums. Generally we start with what skills that they want gain and improve upon.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a certified prk-12 grade Art Teacher, licenced in GA, In feild Gifted endorced, and MA.Ed.
