Saidi opened my world of art. I had no previous lessons but knew I loved art and drawing. He is so patient and tuned in to what a student needs to know while empowering the student to go beyond what they thought was possible. My confidence level has increased and my interest in reaching new heights has gone over the top. I am so thankful I found Saidi!

I’m proud to be Saidi’s student. He is very professional in his teaching abilities as an art teacher. He teaches you how to see, feel and think like an artist. He explains complex situations into simplistic ideas that his students can clearly understand with ease. I consider myself lucky to have him as a teacher and a mentor.

When I started taking lessons from Saidi about six months ago, I felt I had little, if any, artistic talent. I now feel I’ve made far more progress than I thought would be possible at this point. Saidi brings a thoughtful, understated approach to his teaching that has given me greater confidence about what I am capable of drawing. I would recommend Saidi to both beginning art students as well as more experienced artists – in fact, anyone who wants to raise their artistic abilities to the next level.

Saidi is totally versed in the basics so that if you are new to drawing or painting, you will be in expert hands. He is a kind and gentle teacher interested in your progress as an artist rather than in his own ego. It makes all the difference.

    Frequently asked questions

I start with new students at whatever level they are at. In many cases none experience makes learning easier and the progress faster.  Students fallows an easy step by step learning and understanding of tools, principals and techniques of visual arts & design. Students will aquire a solid foundation of how to see like an artist, how to analyse like a scientist and how to draw and paint like a master, while developing their own personal style. I enjoy sharing with my students an accumulation of knowledge and expertise in visual arts, which I’ve acquired from my extended academic learning, my extensive experience of daily practice, and from my God given talent and passion for the arts.

1- Make sure you have passion, patience and a true willingness to learn, because “Talent is simply the willingness to figure it out” as described by Master painter David Leffell.

2- Look for an instructor who has a solid understanding of tools and principles of visual arts, mostly based on an academic extended training in the field. An instructor whose expertise shows through a mastery of various techniques of representational drawing and painting, where composition, light, space and expression are remarkably illustrated through a free melodic application of strokes and a symphonic use of color.

    3- practice, practice and practice

Am I willing to learn ?  Do I have enough passion, patience and perseverance to engage in the learning process?
