What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Evaluate & determine skill level (beginner, intermediate, advanced)
Establish communication with parent/guardian (if applicable)
Start with the basics and build from natural or established skill. Not all players are the same So each player needs, and will get, taylored instruction mix with (general skills and basics.

How did you get started teaching?
I helped coach an 5th grade travel basketball team in Atlanta. The organization held clinics where I could periodically train kids. I have also helped work camps, skills sessions and some groups trainings since graduating college (2011).

Amateur to Intermediate.

The NBA bubble. Small gyms is where the magic happens if you ask me! Small gyms prepare players for big stages...
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Have your own goals. Come in focused. Coaches meant to provide information and knowledge - players are meant to execute!
