About
I train out of MTAG , the biggest sports performance facility in Augusta located in Evans. At MTAG we focus on "developing" the athlete . I assess each player to find strengths and weaknesses and construct a training regiment that will benefit the athletes by acquiring knowledge and taking their game to the next level. We train some of the areas top players and at each level , from elementary , middle school , high school , college, and the Professional level. MTAG is a family oriented environment and an overall great experience for the parent and the child. I myself , Roman Hill played at Cincinnati State junior college who was #1 in the nation for a while . AS A freshman , I averaged a double double until I got hurt , was the co-captain, lead us in rebounds , lead us in double doubles, got MVP of the year, and academic award of the year for having the highest gpa on the team . After my first year I was offered a full ride scholarship to play for Augusta State , where I would play for coach Dip Metress for 4 years (one year was a medical redshirt). We had a winning record each year and a couple tournament appearances and were nationally ranked . I tore my ACL my senior year and after rehab played semi pro for a couple teams which lead me to starting my career as a trainer . My passion is basketball, my calling is basketball, and with my knowledge for the game and my ability to motivate , coach , teach , train and mentor I can make a difference in any athletes game . My parents met each other playing basketball , this is what I love most . Fundamentals , speed and agility , strength and conditioning , sportsmanship, winning attitude , being a competitor, and the list goes on as things we work on at MTAG . Welcome to the family and let's work
