About
I work with only one to four people at a time, so it's very personal and one-on-one. I also allow each student to persue their own interest so no one is ever working on the same thinI also offer small group (up to six) "paint and sip" evenings where I lead them through a painting step-by-step.
I find great satisfaction in watching a person develop the skills they need to produce a painting they can be proud of.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I ask them to bring in pictures of paintings that they like. That way I can get an idea of the style of painting they would enjoy learning.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've been an artist for 30 years and during that time exhibited photography, pastels and oil paintings. I've owned two different art businesses that fostered local talent; Ojai Art Garden in CA and ARtWorks on the Square in Fayetteville, GA.
