My name is Travis Echols and I have a strong passion for the game of baseball. It is rewarding to train the next generation of baseball players and see them progress and succeed. I graduated from North Gwinnett High School in 2007. I then went to Young Harris College while it was a junior college. After YHC I got a scholarship to Georgia College & State University where I finished out my baseball eligibility and got my degree in business.
Below are some of my baseball achievements.
High School: First Team all-region as a junior and senior under Frank Vashaw. Made North Gwinnett Baseball Hall Of Fame.
2009: Played for Young Harris College under head coach Rick Robinson ... Named First Team GJCAA All-Conference ... Started all 58 games, batting .409 with 97 hits, 13 doubles, 75 RBI, 7 HR ... Shattered school record of 20 games with 26 multi-hit contests.
2011: The Bobcats primary starter at third base played in 52 games, starting 51 ... Managed a .269 batting average with 13 doubles, six home runs and 43 RBI ... Tallied .351 on-base percentage, walking 22 times.
