What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Assess their skill level by putting them
through fundamental drills. Depending on their age I then ask them what areas they would like to improve in.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Bachelors degree. Played Division I at the University of Michigan. Coached Division I at Temple University and the University of South Carolina. Currently coach professionally in the WNBA.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
standard pricing depends on location and number of clients. Please call for details. Prefer small groups no larger than 6, but not opposed to 1 on 1.
How did you get started teaching?
After college I started in the Junior Bulls organization.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have trained and worked with grad school all the way up to professional athletes.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Look at their experience and Facebook. Read their reviews and if they have been on other sites.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Are their requests realistic? Do you know what your needs are? Are they willing to put the work in outside of training to get better?
