My name is Marshall and I am a professional catching and hitting instructor. I am a former professional baseball player of 4 years, and 5 year collegiate athlete. In addition, I’ve been a private instructor for 9 years. I operate out of a state of the art, private indoor facility. I’m dedicated to providing a professional, personalized, and high quality experience. You can expect the most up-to-date information and knowledge on the game to be incorporated in your child’s mental and physical development. How did you get started teaching?
I found a passion for teaching through my own training. I never had private lessons growing up, and I learned to become my own teacher. Through this I found a passion and a skillset for teaching others.
What types of students have you worked with?
I work with students of all ages and skill sets. I am interested in working with students that have a passion for the game, for learning, and those that want to get better.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
One of my very first students committed and signed to play collegiate baseball. For 5 years he worked tremendously hard to become the player and the person he is today. Seeing him sign to play collegiate ball, after all of the time and hard work he put in with me on his craft, was a very rewarding moment.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Ask questions and find someone who's passionate about teaching and their students.
