About

I am passionate about finding ways to help students improve their art skills. It's exciting for me to mold the talents of both younger and older artist who are eager to learn.

I've worked in the professional illustration and design industry for over 25 years and have mentored young talent during that time.

However, my passion is drawing and painting.

I have won numerous awards, been represented by one of Atlanta's premier realists galleries, and my work is in private and university collections throughout the southeast.

    Frequently asked questions

First I like to establish a student's goals and skill level which allows me to come up with a lesson plan.

I have a degree in illustration and design along with many hours of fine art studio training.

I charge on an hourly rate. Pricing depends on if private or group lessons. And also travel requirements.

I am fairly new to fine art teaching, but I have been mentoring talent throughout my career.

I have worked with a range of students at different skill levels and ages, but would primarily like to focus on beginners and intermediate students.

Try to enjoy what you are doing! Doing art should be a relaxing exercise. Work with a teacher that makes you feel relaxed and motivated.
