The 3 things I am most passionate about in life are God, family, and baseball. If my student walks away as only a better ball player then I failed and if my student walks off the field not loving baseball then I failed. Also since I am a younger coach (21 yrs old) it is easy for me to relate to my students. Batting/Fielding/Pitching/Throwing
Simple, I love the game if baseball and I love watching my students grow on the field and off the field.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I focus on getting to know my student at first. By getting to know who they are, I am able to be a much more effective teacher. Then I focus on the fundamentals... baseball is all about the fundamentals.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I played baseball and men's softball my whole life, but I never went on to play collegiate or pro ball. I have coached t-ball and trained kids. Unrelated to baseball, but relevant to teaching... I am a youth leader at my church and I have tutored kids.
