Stayin' Alive CPR And First Aid
About
I offer on-site CPR/AED, First Aid and BLS classes that are informative, fun, engaging and tailored to your facility/audience.
I am flexible with regards to scheduling and I can come to you.
My goal is for you to feel confident in your life-saving abilities.
I have the heart of a teacher and enjoy educating others. I feel especially rewarded with teaching CPR when my students tell me that they are confident that can and will help in an emergency situation.
Please check out my Facebook Page to see some of the groups I have worked with.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Students may come to me as an individual or a group.
If you are an individual needing to be certified you can join an existing class or do the blended option. The blended option allows you to complete video modules online at your own pace (you can start and stop them) and then meet up with me for a 15 minute review and skills assessment/test.
If you are a group we will work together to schedule a class at your location.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
BA Health and Exercise Science
MA Kinesiology/Exercise Physiology
AHA certified CPR/First Aid instructor
I have been teaching CPR/AED and First Aid classes for 8 years.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Prices are flexible depending on class size and certification needed.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with all ages and types of groups and individuals.
-Boy/Girl scouts
-Scout leaders
-Church groups
-Fitness center employees
-Foster Parents
-parent groups
-pre-school teachers
-teachers
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Do not shop on price alone. There are many CPR certifications available but none is as widely accepted and respected as the American Heart Association.
If someone had to rescue you or a loved one, which CPR certification would you want them to have...the cheapest, or the best???????
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
1. Do you need a certification or simply to learn the skills?
2. How soon are you needing a class?
