Describe a recent event you are fond of.
We had the privilege of training the entire public safety department at a local Christian University - and they were able to use the skills and training learned to help save a life after the class.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
You want to have a professional, efficient, and engaging experience. Be sure your CPR company will certify you through one of the national certification entities, such as the American Heart Association, American Safety & Health Institute, Red Cross, or MEDIC First Aid. Also, be sure they are licensed, insured, and find out how many years of experience they have teaching and performing the skills of CPR.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
CPR skills are always changing as research and applied science are implemented. Recertifying ever two years in CPR helps keep you current and sharpens your skills.
It's always important to keep up on your skills proficiency because, let's face it, most of us rarely if ever use these lifesaving skills. If you don't use it, you lose it.
