About

Sarah Paul has been teaching cello lessons for 30 years. She enjoys working with young cellists (ages 8-18), and specializes in personalizing her work with students to meeting the unique, individual needs and goals of each student. She has a degree in cello performance from the Peabody Conservatory of the Johns Hopkins University as well as a graduate degree in counseling psychology from Loyola University Maryland. She is also active as a performing cellist, playing regularly with Amati Chamber Music as well as other professional performing organizations in the metro Atlanta area.

Sarah enjoys connecting with each student and getting to know each as a unique person as well as a cello student. She is fulfilled by watching the growth and improvement of students as well as by seeing their increasing confidence as their skills improve. She is particularly happy when her students grow up to be adults who continue to love playing the cello and making music.

My daughter has been taking lesson with Mrs. Paul for the past three years and I would not have her go anywhere else. As a parent I appreciate her professionalism, from scheduling to the on going communications regarding my daughter’s progress. My daughter loves her time with Mrs. Paul because she knows that her lesson are catered towards her learning style and abilities. She is not afraid to ask questions and sincerely feels how much Mrs. Paul cares about her, a person and a cello student.
Mrs. Paul isn’t just a teacher, she has become part of our family.
