About

My goal is to help beginners to understand what they can do with acrylics.

My style of acrylic painting is varied. I sometimes incorporate collages, handmade papers, alcohol ink, texture mediums, gold leaf and found objects.

When you are new to art it’s valuable to understand how to make art that is uniquely yours.

I believe that it is important to feel free when creating your work.

I love being able to express myself through my artwork. Creating art gives me a sense of excitement with each new piece.

Art can be fun because I allow myself to mess up a painting. Every piece is not perfect but I can learn and experiment.

My first instructor told me “never start a painting on anything but the best canvas or surface because that work may be a masterpiece

My art is rich in color and often incorporates gold as well as found objects focusing on a central theme. Her powerful abstract and contemporary works reveal more with each glance.
