My name is Sheldon West I've trained and coached basketball for 11 years. I specialize in skill development,teaching the fundamentals, and teaching kids to play the right way. My prices vary depending on age. Right now I'm available whatever time you need me. Looking forward to meeting and having fun with all of my students.
I enjoy the relationships I foster from training and coaching. I enjoy the amount of fun the kids have and their development is extremely important to me as well. Together we'll become better people, teammates, and players.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I get to know their strengths and weaknesses and work out a plan that best suits them.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm a certified basketball coach. I've been a manager at a division 1 basketball program. And I have extensive coaching in basketball. I've coached everything from 5th grade all the way to High School. Now I coach Junior College basketball.

How did you get started teaching?
I started coaching 5th grade basketball and have coached and trained kids all the way up to high school and college from there.
What types of students have you worked with?
All kids ages 4-21
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I'm the site coordinator for i9 sports at Smitha middle School and I run the camps there every Saturpday 8am-1pm and my kids have a lot of fun learning the game of basketball.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Look for someone who is passionate about teaching the game and that cares about your development as a person and player.
