About

I stand out as an art teacher because I am younger and the students can relate to and connect with me easier. I also specialize in abstract painting which most children don't get the chance to learn about in school. I am also a very kind and patient teacher who wants to make sure her students feel safe and confident in her class.

I have loved art my whole life. It makes me excited to create something new every day. I have always enjoyed drawing but I got into painting when I was 14 and I am now 19 years old. I mainly use acrylic paints but I also enjoy using oil paints as well. I try and paint a little every day to feed my creative craving. A lot of my inspiration for my art comes from a French abstract artist named John Beckley. I used his youtube videos to inspire many of my pieces. I started selling my art because I ran out of wall space to hang them up. I want to share my art with the world and I hope it is enjoyed by all.

    Frequently asked questions

When I work with a new student I first want to learn where their painting skills are at. Based on where their skills are I will help them accordingly. I want to make sure my new students feel comfortable around me. I want them to feel comfortable to ask questions and to fully express their creativity.

I have taken many art classes consisting of acrylic painting, drawing, and oil painting.

The price depends on the size of the class, the difficulty of the painting, and the size of the canvases.

I started teaching art in 2019 when I was offered a job at an art party studio called Create Craft Studio. I worked as the head artist and taught art classes to adults and children.

I have worked with children and adults. I have has classes where the children were very young and the parents helped them paint too. I have also had one on one painting lessons.

When I was painting with a student one on one he became frustrated with his painting when he made a mistake. He wanted to quit because he was unhappy with their painting. I told him that it is always possible to fix our mistakes. I made the same mistake on my painting and showed him how I would fix it and encouraged him to do the same. He decided not to give up and he fixed his painting. We ended up finishing them and he loved what he created.

Not all students and teachers are a perfect fit for each other. Students should consider what traits they want their teacher to have. Students should ask themselves if they want a teacher who teaches half the class or only teaches the first 20 minutes. They should also think about whether they want a teacher who is strict and pushes students to try their best or if they want a teacher who is more laid back and excurages them to expand their creativity.

Students should always come to class with an open mind. They should feel free to ask questions about how to properly care for the art supplies. They should also think about questions regarding their needs such as, "would it be better for me to sit in the front of the class? "Would I prefer in-person or online Lessons?" Do I need to stay after class for one on one time with the teacher?"
