My 7 yo and 9 yo boys had zero batting skills, even after playing baseball for a few seasons. They both showed marked improvement after their first lesson with Coach Gil, and even more so after a couple more lessons! My little guy even got 6 hits out of his last 6 at-bats at his last 2 games! (He had never hit a pitch prior.) Coach Gil is very patient and explains his teachings on a level that the boys and I really understood. His teaching clicked with the boys right away.

Gil is an extremely patient coach. He is super knowledgeable about baseball at all levels. I saw so much improvement in my son, not only with strength, and confidence, but Gil also instilled a greater love for the game in him. I would highly recommend Gil!

Gil has provided hitting lessons for my son for four years, and he has always been professional. My son looks forward to each and every session with Gil. Gil works him hard, but he enjoys the challenge nonetheless. Gil is knowledgeable and doesn’t provide cookie cutter drills. He instead tailors the drills to my son’s individual needs. My son has seen growth since working with Gil, so it has been money well spent. I HIGHLY recommend Gil and his services. You will not be disappointed!

Coach Vega has been working with my son Eli since he was 5 and he’s now 11. My son looks forward to his lessons with Coach Vega. What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Call me and let's get started today! Lessons are held at facilities in Plainfield, Oswego and Aurora.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I served as an alternate on the US Olympic team and played in the Winter Pro League for the California Angels and Montreal Expos.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
First lesson is $50 (player assessment. Thereafter lessons are $80.
How did you get started teaching?
While teaching my own sons, parents approached me and asked me to train their players.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Don't price shop, you get what you pay for. I try to price my training sessions so everyone can afford them.
