Beech Tree Studio offers a comprehensive curriculum and personal instruction in the art of colored pencil and drawing. The studio is full of adult artists that range from fine art professors to those who are just curious about the medium. The vibe is encouraging, the study challenging and the laughter infectious.

Perhaps the most satisfying component of teaching colored pencil to adults is seeing the surprise and delight in their faces as they realize how well they can develop a new skill.

The entire studio of returning artists is genuinely encouraging to each new artist, and I find the commaraderie within the class time to be a delightful bonus to the discipline of the colored pencil medium.
