Fielding, Hitting and Pitching Instructor & College Prospect Head Coach – Manager for HS Elite Travel

Dave has coached multiple levels of baseball, which includes coaching players ages 7-19 over the course of his 14 year coaching career. Walsh created the travel organization, Plainfield Hoppers Baseball, back in 2008. He also managed at the elite travel level for ESP Select, and now, will manage the 15U Black team this season for the Chicago White Sox Academy Elite program. Dave served on the coaching staff at Montini Catholic for 2 seasons (2014, 2015) and is the current Moderator of Montini's Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) Chapter. Dave played at the high school, NAIA, DII and Semi-Pro levels as an OF/1B and his specialties include: hitting, proper throwing technique, infield defense, outfield defense, student-athlete motivation and collegiate relations/recruiting process. Dave prides himself on teaching the game, stressing the benefits of hard work and the need to have fun! Most recently - - Dave Walsh has accepted the role of Head Coach – Soph at Montini Catholic HS for the 2019 season!
