Mike Cacini, began playing organized baseball when I was 8 years old. Graduated from Prospect High School in 1993 where I was a 3 sport Varsity athlete, Football, Basketball, and Baseball. Honor role student and athletic honors including MVP Football, Baseball All-Conference MSL, Daily Herald All-Area Baseball, Hal Sprehe All-Star. Played two years at Triton College, went to JUCO World Series both years and placed 2nd in Nation 1994, 9th in 1995. Contract with the Schaumburg Flyers professional team (Northern League) in 2004 as a catcher and utility player. Since that time I have coached Little League in Mt. Prospect, Arlington Heights and St. Charles, Pony League in St. Charles, Travel Baseball (Arlington Outlaws, Arlington Cardinals, St. Charles Knights), High School baseball (Maine East HS) and Semi-professional baseball (Schaumburg Flyers hitting coach 2005). Over the years I have done over 1600 baseball lessons through Play Ball USA, National Baseball and Softball Academy and Independently. I enjoy teaching and coaching baseball and am passionate about developing players in all facets of the game and in life as well. Coaching not just the physical, but the mental part of the game.

Soft toss drills and tee work then live batting practice for hitting.
Pitching warmup routine, drills and improvement of mechanics, throw pitches, some exercise.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have played baseball since I was 8 years old. I dreamed of playing in the Big Leagues and played at Triton College. I thought my career had peaked after being cut at the University of Illinois, however at 29 years old I was offered a contract by the Schaumburg Flyers professional team (Northern League) as a catcher and utility player. Since that time I have coached Little League, Pony League, Travel Baseball, High School baseball, and Semi-professional baseball.
