The paintings and drawings that I’m able to do now a far and anything I was able to do before. People think I’m this great artist but it’s because of San Jukta that I can create such amazing work. She is the most patient person on the planet and such a gifted artist and teacher. I’m almost embarrassed when I show my work because people think I’m a lot better than I actually am lol.

I look forward to every lesson with Sanjukta. She is a very patient and knowledgeable instructor and I learn new skills and techniques every week. I have always had a flair for art, but Sanjukta has put it into context, and refined skills that have been latent. I also appreciate the fact that she is self-taught. She has brought moments of discovery into the lessons.

There is a saying, those who cant do, teach.” This is definitely not the case with Sanjukta. She is a wonderful teacher as well a a brilliant artist.

If I could give Sanjukta more than 5 stars, I would!

Sanjukta is a wonderful teacher. She has a great deal of knowledge and natural talent that she shares with me at every lesson. She started from what I knew upon starting and brought me to where I now am.

I have learned a tremendous amount about Gouache watercolor painting, to blend colors, shade, etc.. I also worked with alcohol pens and colored pencils to draw a macaw and am now learning to paint a landscape with gouache watercolors which have been great for a beginning painter. I look forward to every lesson and highly recommend Sanjukta to painting students of all levels.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

I assess what level the student is at. Any artwork/s the student has is the best indicator of the level the student is in.

I customize my teaching plan based on the assessment, and the pace at which the student can progress.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Advertising and Marketing, as well as a degree in Applied Art from Academy of Fine Arts.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

I charge $15 for an hour of lesson. I charge the fees for four classes upfront. The student will be required to bring their own art materials.

I provide one trial class to get to know the student.

I have worked with both adults and children, in both group and one-on-one settings.
