I have a Master of Music degree from University of Michigan. I am fully qualified as a Suzuki violin instructor. I worked for 20 years as a professional freelance musical theatre (Phantom of the Opera, Miss Saigon, Les Miserable etc) and orchestral musician( Toledo Symphony, Indianapolis Sympyony). I've taught Suzuki and traditional violin and viola for 20 years.
I show the student how to practice so that they get good results quickly. I focus on posture, rhythm, intonation, bow control, synchronization ot the two hands performance anxiety and building self confidence. Check out my YouTube channel, Fiddle_Faddle. My son Ellery took lessons with Mr.Ronai for 5 years. He played in the Primo orchestra in 5th grade and moved up to Prelude orchestra for the youth symphony orchestra. He attended MWROC. Music camp. Mr. Ronai is a skilled teacher and did a great job preparing him for his auditions.
