A fantastic trainer! He informed me of everything that he was working on with my son after each practice and gave skills to work on at home

FAQs

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

On the first day with new students I use a variety of drills to get a sense of the students abilities. After, depending on the students age, I will tailor drills towards the areas of much needed improvement. Your childs age will determine what drills/moves get prioritized.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Personally, I have played/coached/trained basketball my entire life. I have played AAU for Kessel Heat, Barrington Youth Basketball, Limitless, Elite Basketball Academy, and Barrington High School.

I can tell you first hand that none of these programs will help as much as 1on1 training.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

Training ranges from $25/hr - $40/hr

How did you get started teaching?

I began teaching basketball many years ago with my little brother. I would teach him post moves, dribbling skills, and shooting form. I grew to really enjoy the training and it was not until two years ago I started working as a basketball trainer.

What types of students have you worked with?

I have worked with students of all ages. Predominantly though it has been middle schoolers and varsity players.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

I would advise students/parents to pursue 1on1 training even if it not through me. The easiest way for your student to get better is to have someone breathing down their back the correct way to perform.
