Jimi is a great teacher. I have very little musical talent. He was kind and patient in working at my pace. He is well versed in many genres of music and will find something that meets your tastes. He will work with you on any specific goals that you have musically. He is very knowledgeable and proficient in a wide variety of other instruments as well. He is generally just a kind hearted person who is very nice to talk to. Highly recommend!

My son is 7 and he was a little afraid of learning a instrument. I told him guitar is so fun and I always wanted to play. He said yes to lessons with Jimi. Jimi made him feel very comfortable and he made lessons fun. I highly recommend him!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
When encountering a new student I like to assess where they are with technique in understanding the instrument. Based off of where ever they are in their skill learning I improvise and adapt my instructions
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I’ve played in high school orchestra, I am the rhythm and lead guitarist for the group the RRA
