About
Music is not one size fits all. I try to meet the student where they are at and build upon their unique tastes and talents rather than have them conform to me. Although I do have materials that I frequently use, there is no pre-established formula or rigid syllabus. I enjoy the opportunity to create new materials and techniques when appropriate and think outside of the box.
I enjoy being able to help others discover the language of music as they grow as players, listeners and become better versions of themselves.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Let's get started with a free 30-minute trial lesson! Not only is this a great way to break the ice, but it also gives us a chance to discuss your goals and come up with a game-plan. Whether it is learning to read sheet music, build a repertoire, improvise solos, or learn music theory. We will put together a plan of action that is custom-tailored to your specific areas of interest! If you're not really sure but just want to be a better player, that's okay too! Students as young as 5 and older than 65 are welcome with experience levels ranging from complete beginners to prepping for professional auditions. Lessons are offered in 30, 45, and 60 minute intervals and are typically taught once per week with some students opting for twice a week or every other week depending on ambition and availability.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Patrick graduated from Berklee Collge of Music in 2005 and began teaching private lessons since 2006. He has taught students as young as 5 and as old as 75 with experience levels ranging from complete beginner to working professional. He has logged over 10,000 hours performing in different capacities and has held positions such as bandleader, music director, and ensemble director.
