About
I feel what I do is a passion and not a job. I truly believe that if athletes are pushed to work hard while making the experience fun then the athlete will push himself without someone pushing them. I feel I have a good amount of knowledge (pitching and hitting) that can help make a player better than when he walked in the door. The biggest satisfaction I get out of what I do is getting that message saying the player achieved their goal (making the team or promoted to varsity, etc.) Give me a chance and we can get to work.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
The first lesson with a new client is about knowing the player and understanding what they are looking to achieve working together. I talk and listen to them, ask some questions, and then watch and break down any mechanical flaws I may see.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Pitched for 13 years professionally. Participated in the 2004 Olympics and 2006 World Baseball Classic where I had some great pitching coaches like John Franco of the New York Mets and Ernie Broglio of the St. Louis Cardinals and Cubs.
I have been training athletes for the last 8+ years of all ages from 7yrs old to college.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Lesson rates are:
$50 per 30 minutes
$90 per 60 minutes
How did you get started teaching?
for the love that I have for baseball and helping kids reach their goals. Passion leads the way!
What types of students have you worked with?
Male and Female athletes ranging in ages from 7-18 years old
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Competing in the 2004 Olympics in Athens and the 2006 World Baseball Classic has to be at the top of my list.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
You have to make sure the trainer has a positive personality and makes the lesson a fun experience. Without fun, the hard work will be left behind.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
If a student feels they have a need, then they shouldn't be afraid to speak their mind. In any sport or walk of life, asking questions is what makes someone get better.
