About this pro

I am a huge baseball enthusiast. My last year in High Scool baseball I was ranked 44th in the state. I also played baseball at Concordia University in River Forest, IL. It is a Division 3 school that ranks in the top 5 in the country every year, with multiple MLB draft picks since 2009. I was also the Freshman baseball coach of Aurora Central High School, 2 years ago. I was then promoted to Assistant Varsity coach the past 2 years. I specialize in catching but can also coach the infield and outfield very well. I focus on technique and mindset when it comes to batting. Being a catcher for so many years I have great experience on how pitchers think. We will work on approach, stance, mind set, and situational hitting. I am a huge believer in the basics, and repetition. I focus on technique and hard work.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I’ve been trained by many former MLB players. I’ve also been coached by some of the most intelligent baseball coaches in the state of Illinois. I have a passion for baseball that I will pass on to my clients. I will help them to see the game more in depth and understand the game to the fullest.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

I do not have standard pricing. I love to coach baseball. I am very flexible and will work with clients to see what works for them. I just want to pass down what was so generously passed down to me.

How did you get started teaching?

I used to coach at baseball camps for my old high school coach. I then began to help him coach at his new high school. I’ve always been a student of the game. I now want to pass that knowledge down.

What types of students have you worked with?

I’ve worked with kids  from the ages of 3-18 years old.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

If you are willing to work hard, focus on the basics and techniques, love disecting the game of baseball, I can guarentee I will make you a better player. Things these do not happen over night and will require you to do work on your own as well. I devoted my time to become the best player I could and that is what I will expect from my students.

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

We will see where the player is at technique wise, and their understanding of the game. I am very laid back and understanding. I am a “players coach” and get along great with players. I can guarentee the client will be motivated to work hard and get better.
