Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I want to know what he knows. I want to inprove what he has already Learned or fix it. Then I like to add, new things to his arsenal that he can practice solo and get better on his own the the right technique and right form.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've been playing baseball since I was 3. I've been a starting back catcher with all my teams. Because of my size people under estimated my abilities but when I step out on that field I compete with the biggest kids on that field. I've done cross fit, baseball camps, college camps, showcases, and played a year of college ball.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I like helping kids and like to give the parents a chance to get them help at a cost effective rate. I do 50 per hour, and if anything needs to be negotiable I'm reasonable. I'm also not a time punch freak if you're a couple minutes late that comes off your hour.
How did you get started teaching?
All my relatives in my family loomed up to me and I started teaching them and still do.
What types of students have you worked with?
Started with kids at 4, and now they are growm to 13 almost starting high school. I was the high school catching coach for younger levels and equal levels from sophmore to senior year.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Hands on training I can't stress enough!!
