I enjoy teaching the skills that make players successful, and have fun doing it! Laughter is as just important as sweat equity when teaching children and adults alike - watching my players improve, succeed and enjoy the games I grew up playing and now coaching, makes it all worthwhile!
Sports at any age is about building confidence to succeed when challenged - spiking a ball past a libero, driving home the winning run, striking out the final batter, or catching a touchdown pass - and being an integral member of a team.

First Step - Identify skill level and desired improvement. First meeting is to go through a series of drills to determine skill level at the basic movements and identify opportunities for improvement. End the session with an honest discussion about next steps and areas to work on.
Second Step - implement the plan - begin personalized regimine of exercises, drills and games designed to teach athlete proper technique

I played varsity sports in HS, which allowed me to play college football.
I received a degree in biology, and fell in love with teaching - my career was in corporate education, but have always coached sports - starting with club volleyball, and then baseball and football.
I have worked with athletes at all levels of experience and skill - from first time passing a ball, to varsity athletes looking for that additional edge.
Each student brings with them experiences and abilities - utilizing those unique characteristics enable me to help them succeed
