My name is Terranika Reynolds. I played basketball at Marshall high school.
graduated in 2008. I was All Conference, All City , Team MVP and also a state champion in 2008
I played college ball at Malcolm X college 2010-2011.I received All District, All Conference, All Region. And I'm a Juco All American. MXC has retired my jersey number and my banner is hanging in there gym!
I am now the head coach of Crane med prep sophomore girls basketball team.
Me and my staff train kids from ages 5-18, as well as college players. (Girls and boys)
we work hard at what we do! It's important for us to develop the mental part of the game as well as the skills.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
It depend on the student.lWhat skill work he or she has and what needs to be corrected. Every session we start with foot work gets the blood moving and challenges the student mental.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All the training I have is from being mentored by the greats! Dorothy Gaters, kimya Murray and Tim Anderson. They have showed me so much. I am still a student I learn by watching the students and seeing where they struggle at.
How did you get started teaching?
I love the game of basketball. My daughter just started playing. One day I was working her out and other kids wanted me to start working them out. My love for the game pushed me in this direction and that's to help students get to the next level
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with college students. Professional women players. And kids from ages 5 and up.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
West haven safe summer. It gives student athletes a platform to play over the summer. Men, Women, grade school and college. For those 5 hours our kids are not in the streets! They are doing what they love!
