We strive on teaching the fundamentals of each sport to ensure safety first and knowledge of the game.
It is vital with any sport, that athletes know and understand the game and its rules. These two principles are not only the very foundation for all athletes, but serves as preventative measures from injuries or learning bad habits that may stricken playing time. TMC sports training know "practice doesn't make you perfect", it's "perfect practice makes you perfect ".

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Process for working with athletes is a great stretch routine. Applies for beginners thru professional sports.
First, there is a basic evaluation to determine the athlete skill level. Getting to know the athlete is vital when curtailing a precise training method, that will ensure success!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 15yrs of first hand experience, 8 of those years a two sports athlete, 4yrs a tri-athlete, 9yr captain, 1 year semipro football. Coached three seasons for third and fourth grade AAU basketball team, 2nd best third graders in IA.
How did you get started teaching?
I have always had a deep passion for sports and the monumental foundation that it instills (fundamentally sound). After playing the game for nearly 15yrs, I felt compelled to give back to the youth, through coaching and mentoring.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with athletes ranging from 6-18yrs of age, from all demographics and walks of life. From beginners to college bound athletes.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Summer 2017, DBL basketball camp at Proviso East high school Collaborated with a few colleagues for a week long camp and had over 200 participants, great turnout, awesome camp!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Be focused on where you wish to be and be willing to work for it. Look for coaches that are just as passionate about it as you are. Remember "Hard work beats talent, if talent don't work hard".
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
What's my reason (My "Why") for doing this (purpose)? How hard am I willing to go for it? The rest is written.
