I am here to increase musician population in this world. Music can be a lifetime asset and treasure for you. Let's start this journey together and let me help you to ride on this magical and mysterious yet delightful process. I have been playing guitar and bass for more than 30 years on and off. My goal is to create the engine for yourselves so you can start exploring the music world on your own freely and seamlessly. I am currently in 5 bands playing bass for gigs and playing guitar as a solo act. Once you get to the level of performing in front of people, I can play bass along with you in open mics. It makes a big difference in the total sound by having bass compared to only having a guitar. Looking forward to hearing from you.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
To start we can meet somewhere outside briefly - maybe at a cafe nearby you. This way we will get to know each other before starting actual sessions. Of course there is no fee for this initial meeting. In this meeting, we will find out your current level, and discuss and set the goals. The price I offer is just for reference. We can talk about fee as well in this initial meeting. Process can be various depending on your current level and situation. But in most cases, I will ask you to list out some songs you want to play - maybe initially 5 - and then we will start working on those songs. Of course I want to hear how you want to proceed if you have any wants and needs.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have never had formal training in music. All I have is acquired thru my listening and exposing to various musical experience.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
There is no std. Again I want to discuss this depending on your level, situation and so on.
How did you get started teaching?
I am now starting teaching.

Various in informal settings - like showing what I do to some friends and so on.

Various open mics are some of my favorite opportunities to play for solo act. I also play bass in multiple bands in various venues in greater Chicago area.

What goals do I have? What do I want to be able to do with my guitar playing? Do I want to sing along with playing guitar?
