I base my lessons around the unique musical interests of each student. Learning music should be fun, I think applying practice concepts to songs of the student’s choosing help make that possible.
I hold a bachelor's degree in Jazz Guitar Performance from the University of Illinois. Additionally, I have the experience of performing on cruise ships as well playing locally in Chicago for the past 3 years.
I love seeing "aha!" moment when something clicks for a student! Teaching is a very rewarding experience for me as I find I am inspired by the learning process on a regular basis.
Noah taught private guitar lessons for a few years to my son. As a music professor myself, I clearly observed Noah’s teaching philosophy to be extremely productive. He’s very patient & doesn’t just focus on “learning tunes”, but also focuses on technique and theory.
Noah’s lessons are enjoyable and highly effective. He takes the time to tailor the lessons specifically to my interests, and keeps the lessons fun and engaging; which allows me to make strides in my playing without getting frustrated or losing interest. Noah motivates me to practice without putting any pressure or expectation level on me.
