About
Lessons from U.S.A. Fishing Team member - help you catch more fish everywhere! I hold a World Record for catching fish from shore. 2,011 fish caught from the bank in 24 hours with one hook. Teaching you to catch more and larger fish will be my pleasure. I teach adults, beginnners, children, families and exprienced people looking to improve their catch. After lessons with me, you will make local ponds your new adventures.
Love the fact that I can help anyone improve their catches quickly and show them exact tackle, rigs & fishing gear that is NOT expensive - save them money and have them really start catching! People can't believe how many fish there are in local ponds once you know how to fish them.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Two great ways of learning. Take a half day lesson. Learn all you need to get started. Students can practice on their own and then take another lesson or guiding where we just go catch fish together. This would be a good time to get pointers and to fine-tune your fishing. Another way is to take a full day lesson and get tips, tricks, stories and catch a whole bunch of fish. I ask what a student prefers and what their end goals are. I can also custom-design a program based on what they fish for and how they fish.

How did you get started teaching?
Helping people and kids to fish, I quickly realized how much bad information is out there. I developed a group lesson that got people catching and the rest is history. My students out-catch those around them!!
What types of students have you worked with?
Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Families, Autistic Children, Parents, Kids Camps, Corporate Outings
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I am proud of my kids camps and my Monster Fish class where I put a large fish on 12 out of 12 kids attending and they all got to reel in something big - several caught two!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
There is really only 1 like me. No one has the teaching experience, eqiupment and competition experience in Illinois like I do.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
• Do I want to catch a lot of fish, big fish or a combination of the two?
• Do I want a lot of action?
• Do I prefer less effort, but maybe one or two bigger fish?
