She is THE BEST. Honestly. She is so kind and sweet. She makes you get comfortable around her and then makes you open up about your subjects that you have difficulty in. She understands and she does it with ease, finding a perfect way to help you to understand what you should and shouldnt do in that certain subject. Working with Favour Anthony has been an exceptional experience for both my daughter and her parents. Favour has a unique ability to connect with my daughter, building a rapport that has significantly boosted her confidence, especially in math. Before working with Favour, my daughter struggled with math, but now she approaches problems with a much more mathematical mindset, both in her schoolwork and in everyday situations.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

Getting to know the student and building a relationship with that student to know their personality inorder to personalize each tutoring session to satisfy whatever student I am assigned to.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

I don't have a standard pricing system. It depends on what the needs are of the student and the number of subjects they need help in.

How did you get started teaching?

I signed up with an organization called Tutoring Chicago in October of 2018 and I've been tutoring ever since. I also recently started tutoring remotely with an organization in Ontario, Canada in January 2021.

What types of students have you worked with?

I have worked with students of all kinds of personalities and needs. From the ones that have short attention span to the ones that have longer attention spans. I've worked with students in elementary and secondary school levels.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

I would advice the student to find a tutor that they connect with and one that meets all their needs not just academic but also emotional as well.
